Investigation of the Thermal Properties of Cu-based Shape Memory Alloy

چکیده

This study aims to investigate the thermal properties of phase transformation that may occur with effect temperature in Cu-14.70wt.%Al-4.72wt.%Ni shape memory alloy. The sample was annealed at 1203 K for 30 min an argon atmosphere and then cooled rapidly salt-ice water. By using Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC), martensitic parameters were found. activation energy required these transformations calculated Kissinger, Augis-Bennett, Takhor methods. Thermogravimetric Analysis (TGA) measurements investigated mass changes temperature. Surface morphology analyzed optical micrograph.
